BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF WORK : This Request for Tenders (the “ RFT ”) is an invitation by The Regional Municipality of York (the “ Region ”) to prospective bidders to submit bids for various work includes, but is not limited to, civil and structural, mechanical, process, and electrical short term upgrades, at the Schomberg Water Resource Recovery facility located at 5 Dillane Drive in the Township of King, as further described in Section A of the RFT Particulars (Appendix A) (the “ Work ”). PREQUALIFIED SUBCONTRACTORS: The electrical portion of the Work must be completed by one of the following electrical subcontractors prequalified under Request for Prequalification No. RFPQ-3637-26: Lexsan Electrical Inc. Selectra Inc. Sheridan Electric Services Ltd. Sutherland –Shultz Limited MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS : OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (OHSMS) CERTIFICATION PROGRAM : Any bids received from respondents who do not meet the OHSMS certification requirements, as stated in RFT Particulars (Appendix A), shall be rejected from further consideration.
