Proposed sprinklers: 1.3 Prepare engineered sprinkler drawings and hydraulic calculations for class 3 commodity stored up to 30' in single and double row racks as per Chapter 16 of NFPA 13 2013 Edition. Future provision for 2 levels of in-rack sprinkler heads is to be incorporated into sprinkler system engineering documents.1.4 Extend existing 8" sprinkler header and install new 6" isolation valve and 6" alarm valve for new building addition.1.5 Supply and install 6" feed piping to new building addition from existing sprinkler room.1.6 Supply and install gridded sprinkler system in building addition incorporating K8.0 upright sprinkler heads 2" branchlines and 4" near and far sprinkler mains.1.7 Supply and install sprinkler protection below ductwork over 4¿-0¿ wide.1.8 Extend existing storage area sprinkler system to new processing room and provide adequate sprinkler system coverage within new building addition.1.9 All new sprinkler piping to be schedule 10 black steel pipe with factory painted orange grooved fittings.1.10 Supply and install up to 5 new fire hose racks. Piping to be connected to existing fire hose rack piping in adjacent unit.1.11 Supply and install up to 8 5LBS surface mounted fire extinguishers.1.12 Perform 200psi for 2 hours hydrostatic testing for new sprinkler piping.
